Last year we responded to 1455 Emergencies, these include Medical, Fire, Wildland Fire, Special Rescues (lost or injured hikers, low and high angle rescues, missing children, Motor Vehicle Accidents), Water Rescues (both ocean and river), and Wildland Conflagration requests both in Oregon and California. In addition to responding to calls, we train a minimum of 3 hours per week and participate in community events such as National Night Out, Muscular Dystrophy Fill the Boot, Seaside Safety Fair, Youth Fire Prevention, Canned Food Drives, and the Clatsop County Fair. We partner with the American Red Cross to install smoke detectors in the homes of our community. Our firefighters donate a lot of time and effort to our organization and provide the best possible service to our community.
